Taiwan Cross-border Prohibited/Restricted Items
The following items cannot be shipped or are conditionally restricted:
- Weapons, simulated weapons, ammunition, controlled devices, and explosives
- Flammable and explosive items
- Oxidizers and peroxides
- Narcotics and drug paraphernalia, unauthorized use of anesthetic and psychotropic drugs, unauthorized use of easily produced toxic chemicals, and toxic substances
- Biochemical products, infectious and contagious substances
- Corrosive substances, radioactive substances
- Illegal publications, printed materials, audio-visual products, and other promotional materials that endanger national security and social stability
- Documents, data, and other items containing state secrets
- Equipment specifically for espionage
- Counterfeit or altered currency, valuable securities, documents, official seals, and other illegally counterfeited items
- Currency and valuable securities
- Items infringing intellectual property rights and counterfeit or shoddy goods
- Animals and plants, especially various endangered wild animals and plants and their products
- Foods, medicines, or other items that are harmful to human and animal health, originate from epidemic areas, or can spread diseases
- Tobacco and tobacco products, alcohol
- Valuable items (e.g., artworks, antiques, gemstones, and precious metals such as gold)
- Other prohibited items as per laws and regulations
In addition to the above prohibited/restricted items, SF Express also reserves the right to refuse to ship and/or suspend the shipment of the following items:
- Any parcels for which detailed contact information for the sender and recipient has not been provided;
- Items that, in our opinion, are unsuitable for shipping or are not properly described, classified, packaged, and labeled with the necessary credentials in a manner suitable for shipping;
- Items that, based on their inherent product characteristics or packaging, we determine may endanger transportation vehicles and personnel safety;
- Items that, in our judgment, are not shippable from an economic or operational perspective.
- It is the sender's obligation to comply with the currently applicable laws, regulations, and government provisions of the origin and destination countries/regions. As the prohibited or restricted items vary by country or region, in addition to the above standards for prohibited/restricted items, senders are advised to also refer to the import/export prohibited/restricted item lists of the origin and destination countries or regions.
