High-density greige fabric is used and then run through a brushing machine at high speed. The fibers are brushed into a nap, which also straightens the originally curled yarns into a flat shape, giving the product a peach-skin feel on the surface.
After the brushing process, the fabric experiences significant strength loss. Therefore, it is crucial to select greige fabric with good flatness and high strength. This is especially true for high-count, fine, and thin fabrics, where the strength must be tested before brushing to ensure it meets standards before processing.
