Description
The Dayuling tea area is located in Fushi Village, Xiulin Township, Hualien County, near the border of Nantou and Hualien. Winter temperatures are often below 0 degrees Celsius, with an average annual temperature of around 20 degrees Celsius. The large temperature difference between day and night means that the tea leaves in this area grow slowly, resulting in thick leaves, a tea infusion with a noticeable pectin texture, a strong cold mineral "mountain qi," and a mellow, smooth taste. The aftertaste lingers in the nasal cavity for a long time, naturally producing saliva.
