Description
The Dayuling tea area is located in Fushi Village, Xiulin Township, Hualien County, near the border of Nantou and Hualien counties. Winter temperatures are often below 0 degrees Celsius, with an average annual temperature of about 20 degrees Celsius. The large temperature difference between day and night results in slow growth of tea leaves, thick leaves, obvious pectin in the tea liquor, a strong cold mountain aroma, a mellow and smooth taste, and a lingering aftertaste in the nasal cavity that naturally generates saliva.
