Description
Dayuling tea region is located in Fushi Village, Xiulin Township, Hualien County, near the border between Nantou and Hualien counties. Winter temperatures are often below 0 degrees Celsius, with an average annual temperature of around 20 degrees Celsius. The large temperature difference between day and night causes the tea leaves in this area to grow slowly, resulting in thick leaves. The tea soup has a distinct pectin quality, a strong cold sulfur mountain aroma, a mellow and smooth taste, and a long-lasting aftertaste in the nasal cavity, naturally producing saliva.
